Steve has been awarded a series of grants by the California Community College system to develop programs to help business adapt and the workforce train for rapid changes in information communications technologies, computer, science, cybersecurity, interactive internet, digital media and entertainment technologies.

Through the CA Chancellor’s Office Workforce and Economic Development Division and in collaboration with private industry, educational institutions, faculty and non-profit entities, Steve leads the research and development of relevant and effective statewide programs i.e., guided pathways, workshops, conferences, webinars, educational technology, public private partnerships and industry engagement for the 115 community colleges system.
